How Does RF Treatment Work?

RF treatment applies radiofrequency energy waves to targeted areas around the eye. This energy gently heats the underlying tissues, stimulating collagen production and promoting cellular regeneration.

An RF session is quick, taking around 15–30 minutes. Many patients notice an improvement in symptoms within weeks of their first treatment; however, we recommend completing a series of 2–4 sessions spaced a few weeks apart to achieve lasting results.

After you complete your treatment series, we will continue to monitor the health of your tear film and recommend maintenance appointments scheduled periodically to maintain your results.
